The Healthy Mind, Healthy Parenting Pathway is designed to support parents and carers who are facing challenges with their mental well-being and want to strengthen family dynamics. This pathway provides 1:1 support for those who would benefit from practical strategies to manage stress, enhance mental health, and create a more positive home environment. Through a series of seven structured sessions, parents will receive guidance on managing stress, building resilience, and developing healthy routines that promote emotional well-being for both themselves and their children, fostering a stronger, healthier family life.

Coffee and Conversation

Coffee & Conversation is our monthly drop-in service, welcoming all parents and carers from the Bolton community. It’s a relaxed and supportive space where you can meet other parents, share experiences, and access helpful advice on a range of topics related to family life, parenting, and well-being.

The Healthy Mind, Healthy Parenting Pathway is available to parents and carers who are struggling with their mental well-being and need support to strengthen family dynamics. We accept referrals for individuals who feel they would benefit from learning practical coping strategies to manage stress, improve their mental health, and create a positive home environment for their children.

We provide 1:1 support through our Healthy Mind, Healthy Parenting Pathway, which focuses on improving parental well-being and its impact on children’s emotional development. Over the course of 7 structured sessions, parents will learn how to manage stress, build resilience, and develop healthy routines that benefit the entire family.

Support is delivered in the comfort of your own home, allowing for a relaxed and familiar environment where parents feel at ease.

Our pathway consists of 7 sessions, which can be arranged weekly or bi-weekly, depending on availability and family needs.

Referrals can be made by completing the referral form available on the BLGC website under the Family Assist Service tab. You can refer yourself or be referred by a professional who is supporting you. Referrals to be sent to families@blgc.co.uk

Yes, there may be a waiting list due to demand. However, we strive to provide support as soon as possible after referral.
