For some of our roles you are required to be at least 18 years of age and for others at least 21 years of age. Please check out our role descriptions for the specific requirements.

YES! If you have been in the UK for two years as we need to conduct an Enhanced DBS check.
YES, for a minimum of 6 months. Please apply in plenty of time as DBS, reference checks and
training can take a while.
All our volunteer roles require an enhanced DBS check. A criminal conviction will not necessarily prevent you from becoming a volunteer; the decision will depend on the type of offence, when it occurred and its relevance to the volunteering role. If you do have any convictions, please include this on the application form and discuss it during your informal interview.
Sorry, our volunteers are at least 18 years old, however there is a separate Young Leaders programme.
Yes. We reimburse any expense incurred during your volunteering with us. All expenses need to be claimed back, using a valid receipt and in compliance with our expense policy. All this will be discussed during the training sessions.
