More than 100 local business people attended the third in a series of ‘Business Breakfast’ planned for 2017 by Bolton Lads & Girls Club and Sponsored by proud new patrons’ UTC Bolton.
Guests from a range of local businesses based in and around the Bolton area were welcomed with a rather untraditional Indian style breakfast supplied by local restaurateurs and proud Patrons, Spice Valley to kick start their early morning.
Supporters and Patrons were welcomed by the Clubs Chief Executive, Karen Edwards OBE, before students from UTC Bolton entertained attendees with street science and robots to celebrate a new partnership as patrons of Bolton Lads & Girls Club. Hosted by Assistant Principal Chris Beard, the students who were aged 14-19, dazzled attendees with dry ice experiments and science table tricks.
The Business Breakfast was also an opportunity for current patrons of the Club to welcome 14 new patrons, Maggi Electronics, Higsons Charted Accountants, Total Excellence Centre, Fish Associates, UTC Bolton, AGR Group, Factor 21, Forbes Solicitors, Clough & Willis, Lamb & Swift, Brown & Bancroft, Hilton Smythe, Marlborough Funds, PMJ Capital Ltd as well as announcing Brown Shipley and Liberty Steel who renewed their patronage including Watson Laurie upgrading to Platinum Patronage.

We are very grateful for their support and recognition of the value of the services we provide in Bolton and look forward to working together.
To ensure the Business Breakfast was memorable for all, guests were treated to the unusual world of laughing therapy presented by laughing coach Anna. The therapy allowed guests to feel more comfortable in their surrounding as well as enjoying the infectious laughter of their peers.
